Arsenal takes a big step towards the signing of 85 million pounds sterling “superstar”

The cogs start to turn to Arsenal.
After a month of what looked like fans inactivity, the Gunners are starting to move in the transfer window.
In addition to the agreement for Martin Zubimenddi who finally reached a conclusion, the club has now sealed an agreement of 5 million pounds sterling for Kepa Arrizabalaga and submitted an offer for Christian Nørgaard de Brentford.
In addition, recent reports have now suggested that Arsenal are progressing in talks to sign a world class attacker, someone who could be a dream team for another target of the club: Jorrel Hato.
Arsenal Ramp Up Transfer Business
Arsenal was credited for the first time with an interest in Hato in December 2023, when he was only 17 years old.
The links then went up last summer, then once again this spring, but it was in the previous few weeks that they really started to feel important.
For example, reports earlier this week revealed that Northern Londoners “now speed up their move” for incredible adolescent talents that could cost them around 43 million pounds.
It would certainly be exciting to sign a young person as well rated, and now it seems that the club also progresses in its pursuit of someone who would be a great teammate for him: Roddrygo.
It is at least according to a recent Transfer Football Report, which has reaffirmed that Arsenal remains incredibly interested in the Brazilian international.
The report goes further than that, however, revealing that the Gunners have “made significant progress towards” the massive signature and that they have “positive discussions concerning transfer fees with Real Madrid”.
Regarding these costs, the report says that the Londoners of the North have now discovered that the complete package to land the old gem of Santos would represent a figure north of 100 million euros, which will convert to around 85 million pounds sterling.
So, it seems that it could be a complicated and incredibly expensive transfer to overcome the line, but given the scandalous talent of Rodrygo, it is an arsenal that should fight, especially since it could also be the perfect teammate for Hato.
Why Rodrygo would be an ideal teammate for Hato
There are two reasons why Hato would surely like to play behind Rodrygo, and they relate to his exit and his positioning.
The first is really easy to understand, because if the main objective of the Dutchman is to prevent the opposition from scoring goals, he has shown an increasing capacity to provide chances to his teammates, as in the league only this season, he marked twice and provided six assists in 31 appearances, including 28 on the left.
Consequently, he follows that if the 19 -year -old had a more dangerous attacker in front of him, then his own goal and his help numbers would likely hover, and in the Brazilian phenomenon, he would just have that.

For example, even if he had to spend the majority of this season out of position, outside the right, the “world class superstar”, as nicknamed by Luka Modrić, always scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 53 appearances, totaling 3,425 minutes, which amounts to an average of an implication of goal every 2.08 games or 137 minutes.
Going to its positioning, and looking at the thermal card of the real Ace of this season and last season, it is clear that what he likes to do is to move from the outside, so although he can operate on the key line, he is more comfortable inside.
In turn, he leaves a wide space, a space that is perfect for a rear overlapping to exploit, and although the Ajax star likes to reverse, his own thermal card shows that he also likes to move forward and stay wide.
In addition, the analyst respected Ben Mattinson maintains that his “dynamism would result so well by an LB that overlaps”, and when you add the fact that he has very impressive underlying numbers linked to the creation of chance, there is every chance that he can form a dangerous partnership with Rodrygo from the outside.
For example, Fbref places the adolescent in 1% of the upper rear in the next 14 competitions for the completion of passes, the 3% most important for the chances of creating goals of live passes and the 4% most important for overall actions for creating goals, all for 90.
In the end, only Hato and Rodrygo would be great signatures for Arsenal, but together, it is likely that they can help revolutionize the left side of the Gunners and make it as dangerous as their right.
