Arsenal Gabriel defender signs a new agreement

Arsenal Gabriel defender has signed a new long -term contract to stay at the club.
The 27 -year -old was still two years old to appear on his current agreement, but will now remain in the Emirates for an extended period.
He said: “Arsenal is an incredible club and I am so proud to sign a new contract.
“I love this club, I like supporters, my teammates, I love this stadium. I’m so proud and thank you for all the support. We continue together for the future.
“I hope to win trophies with this club, because I love this club and my family also likes the club.
“I arrived here as a young player and after almost five years, I am so happy and I learned a lot. I’m so proud of myself, it’s an incredible journey, and I’m so happy to continue. ”
Gabriel scored five times last season before an injury to the hamstrings ended his campaign in August.
Arsenal announced earlier this week that midfielder Jorginho and defender Kieran Tierney would leave the club when their transactions would expire at the end of the month.
The Thomas Partey midfielder contract should also expire, but discussions on an extension are underway.
