Arsenal was recently linked to the young Seville midfielder Lucien Agoume, and this interest has now been confirmed.
Last week, we covered the claims made by the Spanish Fichajes on Arsenal’s interest in Agoume, and it is intriguing to see that this has now been taken up by more famous sources.
Athletics is now reported that Arsenal has discussed Agoume as an option due to doubts about the future of Thomas Partey.
The experienced international of Ghana could leave the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer this summer, and that would make it replace it complicated.
It seems that Garoume is a person kept in mind as a low -cost option for the Gunners, according to the athletics report.
Arsenal surely needs another midfielder signature
Arsenal can already bring Martin Zubimenddi, according to BBC Sport and others, but if they are really about to lose Party alongside Jorginho, who is already gone, then the signature of Zubimenddi will not be enough.
Agoume looks like a good perspective after his liga displays, and the 23 -year -old makes sense as a good option to add depth alongside Mikel Arteta.
It remains to be seen how AFC should pay for Agoume, but it seems that the international under the age of 21 should be one of the cheaper options on the market.
What Fabrizio Romano said about the future of Thomas Partey
A few days ago, Fabrizio Romano published on X on the talks of the Partey contract not progressing:
???? Negotiations between Arsenal and Thomas Partey on New Deal do not progress.
No agreement so far and now concrete chances of separating from the coming days.
Thomas would be available as free agent. pic.twitter.com/4afd8rujgi

Romano noted that there was “no agreement so far” and that there was “now concrete chances” for Party and Arsenal to “separate from the days to come”.
Party was a super interpreter for Arsenal and it will surely be easy to replace it, but Agoume looks like a player with similar potential.
