Apple’s emoji game for news plus subscribers could be your last puzzle obsession

Do we have this? Just in time for World Emoji Day, Apple News Plus launched an emoji game in another indication that we will never have enough digital toys to entertain us and divert us.
In the new game – Available in English for news more subscribed to the United States and Canada – players will try to fill the whites with three short sentences using a selection of emoji and genmoji using as little movements as possible. For example, if the sentence is ” – – – – – of my – -” (“Apple of my eye”), you would use emoji 🍏 and 👀 to fill these white words.
There will be clues for each of the three sentences, but if the player chooses to reveal one of the clues, this will count as a movement. The Game Center rankings will follow the results, and players can share their achievements with friends and family on messages, emails and social media.
“The Emoji game is the perfect addition to the Apple News + suite of puzzles of words and numbers, transforming the emoji that we use every day into an accessible and fun Brainer,” said Lauren Kern, editor -in -chief of Apple News, in a press release.
The Emoji game will appear daily in the Puzzles section of the Apple News application, and Apple News Plus subscribers can also play the puzzle in the Apple Games application, which will be launched later this year and will host the Emoji game as well as crosswords, mini crosswords, quartiles and sudoku.
Only a few hours after the announcement, the Sandre R / Apple already belonged to reactions:
- “I would like us to have this in my country. I love NYT ID games like to try those of Apple”
- “I just tried, it’s pretty fun”
- “It looks fun!”
For the moment, the game is available in English for Apple News more subscribed to the United States and Canada and for iPhones, iPads and Macs running iOS 18.4, iPados 18.4 or MacOS 15.4 or later.
