Anthony Hamilton: Lewis Hamilton’s father should play the role of FIA later in 2025 to help young drivers | F1 News

Lewis Hamilton’s father Anthony Hamilton should play a role within the FIA as part of a new development program for young drivers.
Hamilton, who has worked on an advisory capacity in the last 18 months for the FIA, is considered to be “very motivated” to assume the new role.
The 65 -year -old man should be confirmed in his new role in June when the FIA launches his young driver development path.
Lewis Hamilton seemed not to be on the best of terms with the president of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who was impressed by Anthony’s advisory work.
Lewis said Ben Sulayem used words with a “racial element” by urging F1 drivers not to swear on the radio as he compared them to rappers.
No later than Thursday before the Grand Prix of Emilia Romagne this weekend, Ferrari’s driver criticized the saga around the juron after the FIA reduced fines for the use of an offensive language.
“It’s ridiculous. I don’t really know. Nothing I say is going to make a difference,” said Hamilton.
“It seems a little in disorder for the moment. There are a lot of necessary changes, that’s for sure. But that does not really affect me. I don’t see what has happened since.”
