Recently, Angela Simmons and her son Sutton Jr. joined TikTok’s latest “Backup Dancer Challenge.” If you’ve scrolled through social media, you’ve probably seen people singing their hearts out while someone else serves as their backup dancer. The challenge is currently blowing up online, with parents telling their children to be their backup dancer in exchange for everything from money to clothes to toys. Angela promised Sutton he could skip school if he moved, and Chili, Sutton managed to give it his all. But despite his best efforts, Angela ended up playing him, and he still had to go to class. “Please let me skip a day of school. I really don’t want to go. I work too much there.” » said Sutton.
