Analog delayed his remake console N64 again

The 4K analogi socket on the Nintendo 64 is … still not quite here. The company announced its third period on Wednesday to the 3D analog, repelling the retro system in the fourth quarter of 2025. However, it said that it was an intentionally conservative estimate, so it is probably not a huge concern.

The postponement follows the previous ones in March and July. (The last time was due to prices.) Analog recognized the frustration that pre -order customers should feel. “We know it sucks,” wrote the Pocket Maker. “Another delay, announced late, after months of patience. We also feel it.”

The 3D analogue uses an FPGA (programmable Gate Array) chip to imitate material N64. The company promises that it will work with each official N64 cartridge never released without slowdown or inaccuracy.

So why bother with the $ 250 console when you can take a used Nintendo 64 for less than $ 100? Well, the similar takeover supports 4K output, variable refresh rate screens and PAL and NTSC carts. He also adds “original display mode” filters to simulate old -fashioned televisions. (They are similar to those you find on the very well rated analog pocket console of the company.)

Analog says that the system is made at 99% – including equipment, system and packaging. “The last 1% is the place where we are concentrated,” wrote the company. He says he wants every detail to meet his high standards. Nevertheless, pre-orders who wish to bail can do so by contacting support.

Aside from frustrations, delays are indeed better than the shipment of incomplete products – if only 1%. “We push without break and appreciate everyone’s patience and confidence,” the company wrote in an email to customers. “The analog will always deliver – delays or not, it is a commitment to our level of care.”
