For months, the fate of the Asian 2025 Cup was suspended in the middle of political tensions that blocked the India-Pakistan cricket devices. Although the bilateral clashes remain outside the table, the Indian government has now specified that multinational tournaments like the Asian Cup are going as planned. Asian Cup: format, schedule and group structure
The 17th edition of the Asia Cup T20, organized by the Asian Cricket Council, will be played in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28. Although India remains the official host. The tournament includes eight teams:
- Complete ACC members: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan
- Qualifications: United Arab Emirates, Oman, Hong Kong
The format includes an initial group phase followed by a super four phase and a final. The matches will be organized through the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
