Al East within range

Winning eight consecutive games for the first time this season could lead to New York Yankees guarantee and the best record in the American League.
The Al East still undecided, the Yankees conclude the regular season on Sunday when they welcome Baltimore Orioles.
New York (93-68) and Toronto Blue Jays will be tied for the head of the division for the fifth consecutive day when the teams take the ground at the same time. About two hours after the Yankees won a 6-1 victory, the Blue Jays maintained the dead end of the division with their 5-1 home victory over the Rays of Tampa Bay.
The Yankees were late in the race when they lost six of the seven against Toronto and lost eight of the 13 global meetings with the Blue Jays, who won the Al East for the last time in 2015. New York experienced 6 1/2 games on August 23 and five behind September 16.
New York has a 24-8 file in its last 32 games since a 12-1 defeat against the Boston Red Sox and 10-1 in its last 11 competitions since a 7-0 defeat against the Minnesota Twins on September 15.
“I have the impression that guys do a good job to take care of what we can take care of,” said New York third goal player Ryan McMahon. “We have to go winning tomorrow and that’s all we can really control, then I hope that the dominoes will fall.”
The Yankees enter the last day while judge Aaron and Giancarlo Stanton warm up. The judge succeeded in the ninth time in 16 games on Saturday and rolled in three points, giving him an average of 0.331 at the top of MLB.
Stanton dominated for the second consecutive match and is 6 for 14 with nine produced points in his last four games after hitting a double base and two circuits on Friday.
“This will not have any importance anyway,” said the judge, who strikes 0.375 (33 for 88) in his last 27 games. “Our first objective (in training in the spring) was to win our division, which gives us the opportunity to get a few additional home games here for our fans. But the guys of this play, they will be happy anyway. If he plays a joker or a division [series]One or the other will be fine. “”
The Orioles (75-86) have a 4-8 file against the Yankees this season and the Coby Mayo circuit represented their only race in a match when they finished with three strokes. He has marked the fifth time since September 1, they have succeeded three strokes or less and 13th time overall.
“A difficult situation with the last two months for this group of strikers,” said Tony Mansolino, acting in Baltimore, about the offensive difficulties of his team. “We know it and it is well documented at this stage, and we are incredibly responsible for it that we must repair this. So, not acceptable by all means.”
Luis Gil (4-1, 3.29) begins on Sunday for the Yankees. He granted six points deserved over 13 strokes in 10 2/3 rounds in non-decisions against the Twins of Minnesota and the White Sox of Chicago.
Gil is 3-1 with a 3.66 MPM in four career starts against Orioles.
Kyle Bradish (1-1, 3.25) will have been able to start since his return from Tommy John Purgery last month. The bradish granted two points or less to each departure, including last Sunday, when he gave one point on two strokes of six innings before the Yankees scored six points in 10th round.
The BRADIS is 1-1 with an MPM of 2.90 in six career starts against New York.
