Pakistani team of four members ready for the IBSF snooker event in Bahrain

A snooker team with four Pakistan players will represent the country during the next IBSF world championships in Manama, Bahrain, from July 13 to 24, 2025.
In competition between those under 17, those under 21, the masters and six red male formats, the team mixes veteran skills with promising young people, each making a successful success in world tournaments.
Muhammad Asif, a decorated snooker player who previously won the IBSF Snooker World Championship in 2012 (Bulgaria), 2019 (Turkey) and 2022 (Qatar), as well as several Asian and national titles. He will participate in the masters and the six red events, bringing his richness of experience to the tournament.
Shahid Aftab, another experienced competitor and national champion of current snooker who obtained a bronze medal in the 3rd snooker championship of the Asian team (2015, Iran). AFTAB, known for its consistency and its own repotting, will also compete in the masters and six red categories.
On the youth front, Ahsan Ramzan, who won the Asian Championship under 21 2023 in Iran, will represent Pakistan in the under -21 event. Ahsan also won the IBSF Snooker World Championship in Qatar in 2021.
Muhammad Hasnain Akhtar, the last sensation, will participate in the events of under 17 and under 21. The 16 -year -old recently made the headlines by winning the Asian Championship under 21 (2024, Saudi Arabia), presenting his rapid increase in sport.
Naveed Kapadia, secretary of Pakistan Billard and Snooker Association (PBSA), will support the team as manager and referee.
