A killed and at least six injured in mass

One person died and at least six others were injured in a mass stab wound attack that took place in an indigenous community back in Canada, police said.
The suspect also died in Thursday’s attack in a First Nations community in Manitoba province, according to police mounted on Royal Canada (RCMP).
The incident, described by the police as an event of “mass victim”, took place in the first nation in hollow water, about 200 km (124 miles) in the northeast of the city of Winnipeg.
Eight people were transported by Air or Ambulance in local hospitals, shared health told BBC. They arrived with variable injuries, said a spokesperson.
Stars Air Ambulance confirmed that she had responded to an emergency on the first nation in widen water on Thursday morning and had stolen two patients at the Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg.
Few details on the incident are currently available. The GRC will hold a press conference at 2:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. GMT).
Thursday morning, residents of the Manitoba RCMP warned the residents of the First Nation in hollow water which they should expect a strong police presence in the community throughout the day.
He said there was no current risk for public security.
“Our sincere condolences to all within the Creuse First Nation in Water Nation Community and to all those who have been affected by this insane act of violence,” said the RCMP.
The GRC’s major crime unit will lead the investigation.
In a letter to residents published online, the Hollow River Head and the Council offered their condolences “affected by this tragedy”.
The Anishinaabe community has a small population of a few hundred people.
One of the injured in the attack was identified by family members like Michael Raven, according to CBC News.
His children said he had been stabbed in the lung by someone who broke into his home and attacked him in his sleep.
“The community is all shaken by it. This is not something that happens in the hollow water,” said his daughter Christy Williams, at CBC.
The attack occurred on the occasion of the third anniversary of a mass stab in James Smith Cree Nation and in the neighboring village of Weldon, in the province of Saskatchewan, in which 11 people were killed and many more injured.
The suspect of this stab wounded shortly after the police arrested him following a three -day man hunt.
