Amazon consolidates streaming services in the form of freevee application shutters next month

The freevee application provided to Amazon’s advertising will soon stop, its content being planned to go to the main video platform of the company.
Freevee “will be accessible until August 2025,” said Freevee in a message displayed in its free streaming service application.
The service financed by advertising is currently houses a plethora of films, television programs and “live entertainment channels 24/7”, as well as originals like “Jury Duty” and “Bosch: inheritance”.

The message told users “Continue watching your favorite freevee originals and our successful film, broadcasting and television video on free video for free, no necessary subscription.”

Amazon has operated the free streaming service application since 2019.
Prime Video will become the “new exclusive house for television shows, films and live television” Once August takes place, the Greevee message said.
Amazon had previously indicated at the end of last year that it removed the Freevee brand.

“There will be no change in the content available for prime members, and a wide offer of free streaming content will always be accessible to non -prisons members, including selected originals from Amazon MGM Studios, a variety of license films and series, and a large library of fast channels – all available on Prime Video,” said Amazon spokesperson on Thursday.

The company said in November that it aimed to “offer a simpler viewing experience for customers” with the move, depending on the deadline.
Amazon has increased premium video offers over the years and, at the beginning of 2024, began to charge customers additional costs to look at the platform without advertising.
