Nothing 3 phone 3 is really full anti-IPhone, huh?

After a drop of apparently endless leaks and teasing, nothing on the phone 3 is finally there, as well as what promises to be a new aesthetic of division. The catchy Android phone, which was unveiled during a London launch event on Tuesday, will cost $ 799 and will be presented as the “first real flagship product” of the company. To sell its premium package, nothing looks at a new triple camera system, an updated design and a circular display of “matrix” of glyphs which, honestly, seems damn fun.
Let’s start with the thing that sells almost all flagship phones: the camera system. The phone 3, as you may have noticed, includes three different sensors this time. The three rear cameras – the upper zoom, ultrairs and periscope – are 50 megapixels. The most notable addition here is the Zoom Periscope camera, which was also included in the 3A Pro phone. Fortunately, unlike the 3A Pro phone – which was strangely released Before The phone 3 – The inclusion of a periscope camera does not require a huge bump of boring camera. Do not get me wrong, the objective always exceeds a little, but far from the quantity of its predecessor. If you are not familiar with Periscope cameras, all you should know is that these puppies can zoom. More specifically, you can get up to 6x zoom without loss or 60x zoom using the AI.
I have not yet used the phone 3, but probably the biggest hook I have on the surface is that the periscope camera is badly aligned, which makes it a little, uh, strange on the back of the phone. I suspect that it will piss off some people, but others will not really care as much. I suppose that if the camera system is working well for the price, then it will be easy to forgive any design oddity.
Beyond the camera, I think that the most notable functionality is the interface of the glyphs – er, sorry, the Glyph matrix Aka this large OL circle ‘at the top right of the phone which can display all kinds of fun stuff. It’s like the glyph interface but in the form of a point matrix, and it looks like a fun gadget. According to nothing, the matrix of the glyphs does a lot of the same things as the interface of the glyphs (the LED light strips at the back of the phone 1 and 2) and additional things.
Nothing says that the glyph matrix is made up of 489 “pulling LEDs” and can display all kinds of information, including the caller ID, volume levels and the reverse of the camera. It also makes regular timers, a solar clock and (my favorite) some fun games that include rock, paper, scissors and the bottle. To browse all these functions, nothing has also included a dedicated button on the back of the phone, which he calls the “glyph button”. I love buttons, but I hope it works more gently than the buttons of his brand new Headphone 1. Nothing has also said in his phone ad video 3 that he opens SDK to developers, so the use of the glyph matrix can also extend in the future (if someone really cares to build things for that, that is to say).
Inside the phone 3 is also a almost Lightweight level processor – Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 of Qualcomm. It is the same chip found in phones inside like the F7 5G of Poco and the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro from Xiaomi. This is a step compared to the chips used in 3A and 3a Pro phones, which are both delivered with Snapdragon 7S Gen 3. I have already said it, and I will probably say 1000 times, but telephone fleas are at a point where – unless you are a Hardcore mobile player or something, the new generation is not always super critical. If you browse the web, taking photos and video streaming, like most of us, you are probably not going to notice a huge difference with generation fleas on generation. I use an iPhone 13 daily, and it still works … very well. I will assume that the phone 3 is the same story, but I will not be able to try it for myself.
The phone (3) is there. Come and play.

The design can be the most controversial part of the phone 3. Instead of the type of fluid and easy -to -live look of the phone 1 and the phone 2, the phone 3 opts for a rigid atmosphere and similar to a block on its rear plate. I am always on the fence and I suspend the judgment until I see this thing in person, but it is definitely very similar to the 3A phone. For the first time, I think I really prefer the black version of this phone, but again, I want to see it IRL before taking conclusions.
On paper, the phone 3 looks like a solid upgrade on the phone 2 and, to anyone’s surprise, does not push new AI features like Essential Space, which is now out of access. It remains to be seen if the phone rises towards the positioning of the “real flagship product”. Just like with helmet 1, the phone 3 takes a photo of something different. Nothing has so far managed to make things happen just enough to justify its mission to “make technology again fun”.
If you are all-in, you can pre-order the phone 3 from July 4, and open availability starts on July 15. Orders will be available via Nothing.
