HSN says goodbye to Florida studios after 48 years of memories

This is the end of a shopping era at HSN.

On Wednesday, June 26, the sales network filmed its final broadcast live in Florida before moving their studios in Pennsylvania.

“The last goodbye in Florida. The last show of the studios where it all started 48 years ago ”, host of the program Rebecca Vargas shared via Instagram With a clip for the emotional TV event. “This moment was special. I am humiliated to have had the responsibility and the privilege of ending an era alongside people who have devoted decades to this network! ”

As part of the farewell, Vargas invited the crew members and HSN employees to agitate goodbye while a new chapter for the network begins.

“I want to honor them all,” said Vargas while holding tears. “I’m so happy that you can see them, and I want them to go out because it was the most incredible 48 years. Look at that! I love you all so much. ”

In January, HSN announced that its registered office would leave Saint Petersburg, Florida. Many hosts and staff could move with Sister Network QVC in West Chester, Pennsylvania, which houses their parent company, Querat Retail.

At the time, Querur explained that consolidation was part of a change to focus on “live social purchases” under the brand’s change of the QVC group. HSN and QVC will always work like distinct brands.
