Manchester United is interested in signing Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo, and they submitted their opening offer to him.
According to Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, they offered 60 million pounds sterling for the 25 -year -old striker, but it is not enough to conclude the agreement. They will have to offer around 10 million pounds more to seal the agreement.
Bailey affirms that there is fully confidence that the agreement will eventually be agreed. The player has already agreed with personal conditions with Manchester United. There have been rumors, it requires massive wages.
“Man United came with their opening offer … It’s not enough,” Bailey told TBR Football.
“Brentford will not take less than 60 million pounds sterling – in fact, they put it at least with equality with Matheus Cunha at 62.5 million pounds sterling, so United could very well need to cost another 10 million pounds sterling.
“However, the two clubs speak – and I am told that there is fully confidence in the agreement.
Man United needs attackers
Mbeumo is currently one of the best attackers in the Premier League, and it should prove to be an exceptional acquisition for Manchester United if they can conclude the agreement. They need more quality on the sides, and the 25 -year -old will add goals and creativity. He scored 20 goals in the League last term and also won eight assists.
He is able to place forward forward as well as a right winger. Its versatility will be a bonus for the Red Devils. Manchester United must improve their attack unit, and they have already called on Matheus Cunha.
Mbeumo could be the next signature by the door of Old Trafford outfit. It was also linked to Arsenal.
Bryan Mbeumo could transform Man United
The Cameroon International is in its peak years, and it could have an instant impact in Manchester United. It is also well installed in English football, and it would not need a lot of time to adapt to its new environment.
It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can quickly crash an agreement. The player wants to compete at a high level, and join one of the biggest clubs in the world will be very exciting for him.
Even if Manchester United has not been their best in recent seasons, they are a huge club, and the best players will be tempted to join them.
