Sack Fiorentina coach three weeks after signing a new agreement

Fiorentina dismissed the manager Raffaele Palladino only three weeks after signing an extension of her contract.
The former Monza coach was appointed last June for a two -year agreement with an option of an additional year. Fiorentina announced that it had signed an extension until 2027 on the eve of the club’s semi-final defeat in the semi-finals against Real Betis.
But now, less than a month later, they have evolved.
“Fiorentina can confirm that the Raffaele Palladino contract, as well as those on its rear team, have been terminated today,” the club said in a statement.
Press conference at the end of the season 🎙️
Rocco commisso 🎙️ “We wanted to do better than last year, and we arrived in sixth place, for the first time in six years, for the first time in the past 10 years. I think that, despite the ups and downs, we have had a good season”

Fiorentina was eliminated from the competition by the Spanish club, after reaching the last two finals of the conference league, then lost against Venezia in their next championship match to leave them ninth in the Serie A ranking.
Two victories in their last two games have earned Fiorentina a sixth place, qualifying for the conference league next season, but despite the Fiorentina in their best league post since 2016, Palladino’s style has failed to win fans.
Without trophy since 2001 and after losing three finals in the two previous campaigns, the supporters of La Fiorentina lose patience with the owner Rocco Commission who bought the club in 2019.
