Taylor Swift’s Eagles Sweatshirt Reveals Football’s First Fans

Before meeting Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift was a Philadelphia Eagles fan. But after his relationship with the NFL began, his favorite team probably moved on to the Kansas City Chiefs.
His previous taste for The Birds was shown in a new documentary series, The end of an era. In the first episode, footage revealed that preparations for the tour began six months before rehearsals.
At that point, Taylor was seen arriving in a gray Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt, a team that is a known rival of his now-fiancée’s club.
But her allegiance to Philly quickly changed when Travis came into her life. Since then, the pop icon has been spotted several times attending a Kansas City Chiefs game with her friends, cheering on her boyfriend, a tight end.
In the same docuseries, Taylor returns to an incident that changed her life. It was a terrorist plot that was foiled by authorities before his concert in Vienna in 2024.
The situation led the Grammy winner to scrap all three of her concerts during her European leg of the Eras tour. Three men were arrested who the CIA said planned to kill “tens of thousands of people” at his concerts.
“It’s just a bit of a strange feeling going to these last five shows in Europe,” the 35-year-old opens up about the incident, adding, “Because I feel like we’ve done about 128 shows so far, but this is the first one where I feel like… I don’t know, like I’m skating on thin ice or something.”
“We had a series of very violent and scary things during the tour. We avoided a massacre situation. And so I’ve been all over the place,” she notes.
