Billy Crudup has opened up about the moment he knew his wife, Naomi Watts, was the one.
In a recent discussion on SiriusXMIt is Let’s talk off camera with Kelly Ripathe 57-year-old actor reflected on his time meeting Watts while they were filming the new 2017 Netflix series Gypsy.
“Obviously the pressure of doing these kinds of shows can reveal a lot about how someone handles their life, their professional life, their personal life, et cetera,” Billy responded to Kelly when she asked him when he fell in love with Naomi.
“We had a lot in common,” he noted.
Billy then listed the traits he observed in Naomi when they were on set together.
“And the way she handled the set, the crew, the writing, the other actors, was unusual. She’s an incredibly hard worker, but she has crazy resilience and on top of that she’s very compassionate to the other people who work around her,” Billy exclaimed about Naomi.
“In general, you can be very generous because you don’t really care, you don’t work that hard. You can be applicable on set because you have other things to do. [Or] you can work really hard and put so much pressure on yourself that you make people around you unhappy,” he further explained.
The duo then got married in 2023.
