Ariana Grande Writes Heartfelt Letter to Fans After Release of ‘Wicked: For Good’

Ariana Grande wrote an emotional letter to her fans following the release of her new film, Villain: For good.

The 32-year-old singer shared the lengthy note on her Instagram account on Sunday, November 23, just as her fantasy musical film topped the box office.

“My dear Ozian friends,” Ariana began. “Oz has been my safe space for as long as I can remember. The characters on these pages teach us to love unconditionally with all our hearts; to laugh; to forgive (even when it is the most painful); to fiercely protect ourselves and each other.”

She added: “I fell in love with Wicked when I was ten. It was an escape and a place where I knew I could find comfort and understanding throughout my childhood and adult life.”

“Deeply loving something and becoming it are two very different things. Becoming your Glinda the Good and being invited to join this most wonderful group of human beings on a most creative and emotionally fulfilling journey has been the greatest gift of my life. I have learned more from my time with Glinda than anyone else,” the actress continued.

She added: “Now seeing how it has moved and been there for all of you in the same way it has been for me throughout my life has been the most meaningful, moving and precious gift of all. You will never know what it truly means to me. I am so grateful to have been a small piece of this bubble puzzle and to be your Glinda.”

“Before you go, remember: whenever things get scary or you feel alone, home is wherever and who we want it to be with, and there’s no place like home. The Ozian family you’ve chosen loves you exactly the way you are, and I couldn’t be more grateful that you exist. Love always, Ariana (your Glinda),” Ariana concluded.

For those who are not informed, Villain: for good was released in theaters on November 21, 2025.

In its first weekend in theaters, the new musical adaptation grossed $150 million in North America and $226 million worldwide, making it one of the biggest releases of the year.
