However, Bertinelli recently decided to spice up her look and took inspiration from one of society’s biggest beauty icons, Kim Kardashian!

From the start of the week, Bertinelli surprised his followers with a new look. “New hair, who has it?” ” the celebrity chef joked in her Instagram caption as she posted a selfie showing off her vibrant hairstyle.

The photo showed Bertinelli sporting a bold blonde hair color instead of her signature brunette. The hair fell over her shoulders in loose waves, with dark roots visible through a center part.

She credited celebrity stylist Chris Appleton, popular for styling Kim Kardashian, for the wig. It didn’t take long for fans to camp out in the comments, praising the “Hot In Cleveland” actress for her jaw-dropping look.

“Wow, you look beautiful. I almost didn’t recognize you. The hair color is incredibly beautiful,” one fan exclaimed. Another wrote: “Beautiful!! Lady, you are not aging at all. Talk about awesome genetics!!”

Responding to the critics, the celebrity chef made it clear that she wasn’t interested in their opinions, explaining that it took her years to achieve self-acceptance.

“It’s not the 20-year-old body that I hated, and it’s a shame that I hate this beautiful body,” Bertinelli said, as reported by The Blast.

However, she wouldn’t go back in time. “Even though it has been and continues to be a challenge, I am grateful for this journey, and I would never trade this body for my 20-year-old body. Ever,” she concluded.

Still on her journey to self-acceptance, Bertinelli revealed that part of it was letting go of restrictive thinking.

“I don’t deny myself anything anymore,” she said, explaining that she decided to eat what she wanted, when she wanted.

Another positive side was that she saw a change in the things she craved. The actress noted that she now wants to eat only foods that will provide her body with the necessary nutrition.

While kissing, Bertinelli shared a makeup- and filter-free photo with fans on her 65th birthday in April.

As The Blast reported, the “One Day at a Time” alum also included a compilation of unfiltered clips, proudly embracing her looks and age.

Fans showered her with sweet wishes and admiration. “Happy 65th birthday! If we could all bring as much joy to the world as you have to those of us who have watched you grow. You make the 60s feel not like the end but the most fulfilling,” one user wrote.
