Keith Urban didn’t let Nicole Kidman’s divorce affect his work

Keith Urban has proven that professionalism comes first, even in times of personal turmoil.
Despite his recent divorce from Nicole Kidman, the country star remained focused and calm while filming his new reality series, The road.
Contestant Billie Jo Jones shared with The daily mail that Urban, 57, remained fully dedicated to his work while tending to his private life behind the scenes.
āYou wouldn’t even know he was going through something because he definitely put personal things aside and was professional the entire time, which is what a true artist should be and should do,ā she said.
Jones described working with Urban as “a dream come true,” adding that he’s “one of those people that really wants the best for you and really pushes you to be the best you.”
The roadproduced by Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan, follows 12 up-and-coming artists competing for the chance to be Urban’s opening act.
During the Oct. 19 premiere episode, Urban spoke candidly about his dedication to music and the sacrifices that come with it.
āItās a calling, and youāre either going to do it or youāre not going to make it,ā he said.
“When you wake up on a tour bus at 3:30 in the morning and you’re sick as a dog, you’re in the middle of nowhere and you have to play your fifth show later that night… and you’re like, ‘Why am I doing this?’ The only answer can be: āBecause this is what I was born to do.ā Ā»
According to an insider, Urban’s A tall and living world The tour kept him moving in the months before his split from Kidman, 58.
āHeās everywhere, all the time,ā the source said. Us every weekexplaining that his busy touring schedule ā in the United States and Australia ā left him little time at home.
“They both spent a lot of time apart due to work commitments and lived separate lives. She and Keith were not on the same page.”
Kidman filed for divorce on September 30 after nearly 20 years of marriage.
The former couple, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, have since agreed to a parenting plan in which the girls will spend 306 days a year with their mother and 59 days with their father.
Urban then addressed the speculation surrounding his personal life during a recent stop on his A tall and living world Visit to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
He told the audience that fans had read too much into his onstage lyric changes, which many believed reflected his split.
During his performance, he changed the lines of his hit But you will think of mesinging, āBut I bet youāre thinking about me!ā and exchanging āTake your place and take your reasonsā with āall your bulls— reasonsā.
After his first concert after Kidman filed for divorce, Urban also dedicated his song The fighter to his guitarist, Maggie Baugh, which sparked a wave of online rumors about their relationship.
The singer has not responded to the speculation, instead keeping the focus on his music and his work on The road.
Even through one of the most difficult periods of his life, Urban continues to demonstrate the same resilience and dedication that has defined his decades-long career in country music.
