On the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Wizarding World Direct published sneaky photos taken from Lithgow in full suit, with its long white beard and its fluid dress. Lithgow follows in the footsteps of the late Richard Harris – who played Dumbledore in the first two films “Harry Potter” before his death in 2002 – and Michael Gambon, who resumed the role in the withdrawal of Harris. (Gambon himself died in 2023.)
