Taylor Swift recently explained why his close friend Ed Sheeran discovered her commitment to Travis Kelce via Instagram instead of a personal call.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy FallonSwift explained that the lack of phone from Sheeran made it difficult for her to contact him directly.
“He has no phone! And that’s one thing I like about him. It’s very eccentric. I love it,” said Swift, highlighting the unique aspect of their friendship.
THE Antihero Hitmaker revealed that she generally contacts Sheeran by e-mail or FaceTime, but he needs to find an iPad to respond, which often leads to humorous situations.
When the news of his engagement broke, Swift realized that they had forgotten to call Sheeran, inciting him to exclaim: “Oh my God, we forgot to call Ed! Oh no!” Sheeran later confirmed the explanation of Swift on The Tonight Show’s Tiktok, writing, “Hello of my allocated iPad time, it’s factual.”
The two musicians have shared a strong link since 2012, when Sheeran was the opening of the act on Swift Red tour. They collaborated on several songs, including Everything has changed And End game.
The singer-songwriter even hinted that Sheeran could perform during his marriage, joking “if there is a scene, you know you will be there.”
