Friday, the Church of England appointed Sarah Mullally as the Archbishop of Canterbury, the spiritual leader of 85 million Anglican Christians in the world. Mullally, a nurse on the cancer of the outcry, was also the first woman Anglican bishop of London.

Some will ask what it means for a woman to lead the Church of England and play the world role of the Archbishop of the Canterbury in Anglican communion. I intend to be a shepherd that allows everyone to flourish, whatever the tradition.
