Predictions of week 5 for the NFL 2025-2026 season

Week 4 of knees

We have reached the end of the first quarter of the 2025 NFL season, and it was a crazy race so far. After a solid week four where I nailed 12 of the 16 games, we start with my quick reactions to the previous results and include a note from the first quarter for each team.

Seattle 23 / Arizona 20: A match for first place which now belongs not only to the Seahawks but also to 3-1,49ers and 3-1 rams. The cardinals have held up in it and are still in good shape at 2-2. Grades: Seattle (a) and well appear so far with Sam Darnold picking up where he had stopped in 2024. Arizona (B-). The cards had to be competitive, and it is far too early to predict how the rest of their schedule will take place.

Pittsburgh 24 / minnesota 21: The Steelers have played their best game in the general classification to date and are now in charge of AFC North. The Vikings scared Pittsburgh, but it’s only because they are a very good team. Grades: Pittsburgh (B-). If the Steelers had played better in their three previous games, the note would have been higher. But their arrow points up. Minnesota (A-). Vikes will be a threat to win the division, but have to face the Strait Lions that look like a force with which it is necessary to count.

Atlanta 34 / Washington 27: With Jayden Daniels missing playing time due to an injury, commanders are a different team. With Daniels, they probably beat the Falcons. Without him, they lost. Atlanta has been an improved team since the 2024 season and Michael Penix Jr. becomes more comfortable in the NFL. Grades: Atlanta (B +). Washington (C +). The commanders’ note will fall if they will not recover Daniels and find ways to win without him.

Buffalo 31 / New Orleans 19: The Bills continue to ride but do it against a team that has not yet won a victory this season. Grades: Buffalo (A +). How could it be something less without loss? New Orleans (F). A complete opposite. Without a victory, they did not win a better note.

Detroit 34 / Cleveland 10: The Browns may have had their best game of the season by beating Green Bay. Now they are back to standard. Detroit begins to roll. Grades: Detroit (A). It will go to a plus if they continue to win big. Cleveland (D-). Without the victory of Green Bay, it would be an F. Flacco is on the bench and Gabriel walks for the game during the week five.

Houston 26 / Tennessee 0: So much for the number one global choice of the NFL being significant. Cam Ward showed only flashes. The Texans obtain their first victory and so far have been a disappointment. Grades: Houston (D). Tennessee (F).

New England 42 / Carolina 13: Mike Trébel again has respectable patriots while the panther thought that their arrow showed before the start of the season. Now Carolina is 1-3 and goes in the wrong direction. Grades: New England (B +). Caroline (D-).

New York Giants 21 / Los Angeles Loaders 18: Jaxson Dart obtains his first departure from the NFL and most of them thought it would be a difficult challenge that the undefeated charges face. He beats the odds and his giants put their first defeat in the greatest upheaval of the week five. It was the first victory of the New York season, and it seems that Dart ended Russell Wilson’s career at least as a giant. Grades: New York (C-). Depending on how Dart makes from now on, the giants’ note could increase. LOS Angeles (B). Before the match, the “bolts were talking as a team to beat in the AFC. Now they look vulnerable.

Philadelphia 31 / Tampa Bay 25: We talk a lot about the Eagles offensive and what J Brown said later, and Baker Mayfield was far from having his typical game. The questions mark the two teams after it. Grades: Philadelphia (A-). Their undefeated assessment keeps them in support A but no longer because of the question points. Tampa Bay: (B +). Indestated Nicter, they are still a serious threat.

Los Angeles Rams 27 / Indianapolis 20: The colts blew up this one on the strength of Adonai Mitchell’s stupid trial and error in the goals area while crossing the goal line for a score with his extended hand. Danny Jones raised his career in Indy and Matthew Stafford continues to build his curriculum vitae of the reputation temple. Grades: Los Angeles (A). Indianapolis (A-).

Jacksonville 26 / San Francisco 21: It seems that the jaguars have turned the corner of another team’s soaking stone with Liam Coen as a new head coach. A huge victory for Jacksonville on the road. The 49ers may have been too confident in it and their unbeaten record has disappeared. Grades: Jacksonville (A). San Francisco (A-).

Kansas City 37 / Baltimore 20: Wow. Just wow. No one could have predicted until after four games, the Baltimore Ravens would share the last place in AFC North with the Browns. But here they are and worse for them, the points they abandoned in defense. Their ‘D at the moment is tearing down squarely. Lamar Jackson is doubtful for the game of the week five against the Texans, and they may not afford to be 1-4 with the Steelers who get the Browns next. The chiefs are not yet dead. Grades: Baltimore (F). Kansas City (C +).

Chicago 25 / Las Vegas 24: What a fine for bears. By blocking a goal from victory to win the victory. The return to the training of Pete Carroll does not take place as planned. Three defeats in four games and when he joined the head coach for the first time Aaron Glenn with the jets, these two teams have a combined record of 1-7. OUCH. Chicago is in good shape at 2-2. Grades: Chicago (C +). Las Vegas (D-).

Green Bay 40 / Dallas 40 Final / OT: Mikah Parsons A difference manufacturer? Barely. Packers with Parsons would have been the team to beat, but there are now questions on the performance of Parsons and Jordan Love. The cowboys could end up having the last laugh of the exchange of Parson because when the agreement was concluded, they laughed. Grades: Green Bay (C +). DALLAS (B-). This note is based on their efforts to be competitive.

Miami 27 / New York Jets 21: What a mess in New York. Aaron Glenn had great hopes for Justin Fields and although he was not bad in the victories of Miami who still govern the statistics. Right now, the jets do not have a single victory, so there are “the same old jets”. Miami climbs to the board with his first victory. Grades: Miami (D). New York (a big fat F).

Denver 28 / Cincinnati 3: And the rhythm continues for Bengals. No burrow no victory. The Broncos were supposed to be an AFC favorite, but what does he say, beating a team with a bad defense and now the quarter of an elite? Grades: Denver (B) Cincinnati (D-).

Points of week 5

And now week 5 in the NFL.
