James Gunn almost made a character of season 2 peaceful gruff his head

The following article contains spoilers For “Peacemaker” season 2, episode 6.
The actors who work with James Gunn, the writer / director / producer / CO-PDG of the DC studios behind successes like “The Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Superman”, seem to really work with him because they come back constantly, with a fairly impressive rotation of “Gunn regular” which appear in repeated projects. One of these actors is Gunn’s real wife, Jennifer Holland, who appeared in “Brightburn”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, and the HBO Max series “Peacemaker”, where she plays the agent of the Rugueuse special forces Emilia Harcourt. In season 2 of the series, we see how badass And Broken Harcourt, it is really when she enters bars looking for fights just to feel alive, but in an abandoned version of the season, things apparently were even more difficult – and that would have forced Holland to shave her head.
In the episode of the official podcast of “Peacemaker” discussing the episode of season 2 “ignorance is Chris,” Gunn and Holland revealed that originally Gunn had planned a scenario which had hacourt infiltrating the neo-Nazi group of the White Dragon (Robert Patrick) by going undercrocheed as Skinhead. It seems absolutely crazy and could have easily involved so many bar fights, but he ended up throwing it in favor of a scenario on Christopher Smith / Peacemaker (John Cena) wanting to run away in an alternative universe where everything seems better. He always ended up involving the Nazis, just in a very different way.
Harcourt would have shaved his head to go under cover
At the end of the first season of “Peacemaker”, Chris kills his neonazi supervillain dad to stop his wickedness and take revenge for a life of abuse, and Gunn had initially planned for season 2 to resume with Harcourt Undercover among his group. In the episode of the podcast, Holland said that she was going to “have to shave herself [her] Chef “for a previous version and Gunn explained a little more, saying:
“I wrote a treatment of the whole season for a completely different version which concerned, like, the Nazis gang that Auggie Smith left in his wake – and I never felt it. […] I wrote a completely different first episode. Like, he had a really cool action sequence. It contains an excellent action sequence that I hope to be able to use elsewhere. But I think I only wrote the action sequence. “”
Although there are really incredible hacourt action sequences in season 2 of “Peacemaker” with whom we found ourselves, I am curious to see if Gunn ends up using the scene for her in another season (or giving it to another character in her universe DC Greater). The idea that the children of the 11th street take neonazis certainly have not been completely launched, at least, and we are sure to see serious Nazi fights in the earth X in episode 7. It could have been fun to see Harcourt go under cover, but since the best at the end.
