Others sympathized with the official taken in the middle. The comments sank in the defense of his role, one saying: “He is there for your security. He does his job” and another outgoing, “poor guy, he was doing his job.” Some pushed him even further, predicting that Elord would light the same team that protected him, “but if he was injured, he will blame the bodyguard.”

A frustrated fan summarized it with: “Honestly, the right of certain celebrities.”

Not everyone was ready to cancel the Australian actor. A handful of fans suggested that there could be more context behind the clip. “Guys, you don’t understand, these security guys are not what they seem,” a commentator wrote. “They control and work for management, not the actor. There is more behind the scenes.”

Others have tried to see both sides, with a fan admitting: “I can understand the two perspectives. But generally bodyguards have a better understanding of the situations that could end up being dangerous.”

Venice’s drama comes in the heels of the rupture of the Elordi with an influencer Olivia Jade Triannuki. The couple, who sparked rumors of meetings at the end of 2021, recently separated. Neither Elordi nor Giannulli publicly approached the split, but sources close to the couple say that their romance has officially died.

Their relationship was always a bit of a roller coaster.
