The first season of Jeremie Frimpong in the Premier League was reduced by a number that the Dutch international suffered during the Liverpool opening match at Bournemouth.
The right back Frimpong was surprisingly replaced by midfielder Wataru Endo after 60 minutes – and manager Arne Slot now explained what happened to the young woman of 24 and when he should be supposed to be in action.

FRIMPONG, who marked his first Liverpool objective in their defeat of Shield Community against Crystal Palace on August 10, also underwent a problem of the hamstrings.
“The medical team was absolutely right about Jeremie to tell me that I had to withdraw it because it is absent until the international break,” said Slot.
“I think I was criticized a little for having removed it. It had nothing to do with the way he played, but we thought he had a problem with his hamstrings.
“It was a good call to remove it because otherwise it could have been absent for longer.”
Slot added that Bradley, 22, had returned to training for the first time “for a few minutes” on August 21, four days before the high flight trip from Liverpool to Newcastle.
When will Frimpong return from injury?
Slot predicts that Frimpong will be available again for the trip from Liverpool to Burnley on September 14 (14:00 BST / 09:00 and / 06:00 pt).
This means that Frimpong could live its first Merseyid derby when the host of Liverpool Everton six days later (12:30 BST / 07:30 and / 04:30 pt).
The remaining match of the Reds in September is a trip to the palace on September 27 (3:00 p.m. BST / 10:00 and / 07:00 pt).

“Jeremie has a very positive injury record,” said Slot when he was asked if he was concerned about his options, defender Joe Gomez also had trouble for fitness.
“Conor was released once or twice last season. We only have two injuries and unfortunately, they are in the same position.
“The good thing is that Wataru played in this position and that Dominik Szoboszlai played there.”
