The co -president of the GOP Youth Advisory Council CJ Pearson discusses the controversy surrounding American advertising Eagle featuring Sydney Sweeney on “Varney & Co.”
“Advertising, the choice of Sweeney as the only face and the reaction of the Internet reflect a frantic cultural transition to whiteness, conservatism and capitalist exploitation. Sweeney is both a symptom and a participant,” MSNBC Hanna Holland was written on Monday in an MSNBC.com column on Monday.
On “GMA First Look” by ABC on Tuesday, the program presented a clip by Professor of the University of Kean, Robin Landa, connecting “Good Jeans” from Sweeney to the Eugenic Movement.
“The play on words” Good Jeans “activates disturbing historical associations for this country. The movement of American eugenics, at its peak between 1900 and 1940, armed the idea of good genes just to justify white supremacism,” she said.
