“I don’t see a plan”

The Pittsburgh steelers have acquired Aaron Rodgers as a quarter-back leaving for the 2025 season. Apart from this, they also carried out several other intersane movements, including the acquisition of the DK Metcalf wide receiver. More recently, Mike Tomlin’s team has exchanged Minkah Fitzpatrick security in Miami dolphins to get CB Jalen Ramsey and Te Jonnu Smith.

However, analyst Colin Cowherd is not convinced that these off -season movements will guarantee the success of the Steelers in 2025. In the episode of Wednesday of his eponymous program, he criticized the team for having obtained Metcalf while separating with George Pickens, as well as the other changes of off -season.

“They therefore come out of a high maintenance maintenance key receiver with a great personality and they have acquired one,” said Cowherd (horoditing: 5:47). “Then you leave a guy who has gone a little exceeded his peak, good player, Minkah Fitzpatrick, becoming expensive, and they bring another defender who is more expensive and exceeds his peak. I do not see a plan. I have the impression that they only make movements to make movements.”

Before joining the Steelers, Aaron Rodgers spent two seasons with the New York Jets. MVP’s beginnings four times from the NFL was interrupted after an end of season injury in week 1 of the 2023 season. However, the quarter-Arrière made a return last season.

However, Rodgers could not bring together a disappointing file of 5-12 with the team in 2024 while recording 3,897 yards and 28 TDS passers-by. This led the jets to separate from him in February.

Aaron Rodgers is excited for a new trip with Pittsburgh Steelers

In the middle of his off -season training, Aaron Rodgers took a while to attend the recent Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament. While speaking with journalists at the event, he expressed his enthusiasm at the idea of playing in Steel City under Mike Tomlin and OC Arthur Smith.

“Well, I just like the novelty of it all,” said Rodgers. “I am delighted to be with such a large franchise with the renowned temple coach (Tomlin), and I liked to know Arthur Smith, our coordinator. The quarter-back coach was actually in my room a million years ago.

“I know Tom, Arth, since we were young children without gray. So it’s fun. It’s a good quarter-back room, and there is a good leadership in the locker room. It is an excellent base of fans, and I’m just excited to come back there and finish (my career) in the right way,” he added.

The last time the Steelers made an appearance of the Super Bowl was during the 2010 season. It was then that Rodgers led Green Bay Packers and defeated them to go out victorious in the Super Bowl XLV.
