$5 Million League of Legends World Championships T1 Ticket

T1 defeated Invictus Gaming 3-1 in a play-in match on Tuesday to clinch a spot in the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship.

Playing in Beijing, T1 punched their ticket to the Swiss stage of the 16-team tournament that will crown a million-dollar champion on November 9.

T1 opened with a 34-minute victory in red before Invictus Gaming tied the match with a 38-minute victory in blue. T1 won the best of five games with a 35-minute victory in blue and a 27-minute triumph in red.

South Korean jungler Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun turned in an MVP performance for T1, finishing with a 21/12/44 ratio of kills, deaths and assists.

Invictus Gaming won $75,000 as consolation money for finishing 17th in the event.

The Swiss scene begins Wednesday with a five-round format. Teams need three wins to reach the playoff stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated. All matches are best-of-one, except for elimination and progression matches, which are best-of-three.

Eight teams will compete in the playoff stage, a single-elimination bracket starting October 28 where all matches will be played in a best-of-five format.
