4 teams qualify for IEM Chengdu group finals

Four teams advanced to the upper bracket final on Tuesday as the group stage continued at the $300,000 Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2025 tournament in China.
Astralis and Team Falcons will meet in the Group A final and FURIA and MOUZ will face off in Group B.
Sixteen Counter-Strike 2 teams began this week’s competition on Monday, vying for the top prize of $125,000.
The double-elimination group stage features two groups of eight teams, with all matches best-of-three. The group winners advance to the semifinals of the playoffs, with the group runners-up entering the quarterfinals as high seeds and the third-placed teams entering the quarterfinals as low seeds.
The playoffs begin Friday with all best-of-three matches leading up to the best-of-five grand final on Sunday.
In the upper semifinals of Group A, Astralis swept The MongolZ and the Falcons swept Team Spirit. In the Group A quarterfinals, HEROIC defeated Natus Vincere 2-1 and paiN Gaming swept TYLOO.
In the upper semifinals of Group B, FURIA swept G2 Esports and MOUZ took a 2-1 victory over Vitality. In the Group B quarterfinals, Lynn Vision Gaming defeated 3DMAX and Virtus.pro defeated FaZe Clan, both by scores of 2-1.
