How the princess “sage” Charlotte leads the “modern” era of the monarchy

Princess Charlotte may only be 10 years old, but she already redefines what a modern royal means.
Born in 2015, Charlotte became the first royal woman not to lose her place in the succession line to a younger brother, thanks to a historical change in royal law.
Now third online at the throne, she grows at the heart of a monarchy that evolves quickly – and her parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, lead this change with intention.
“Kate has the reins of power in a very subtle way. She has very strong opinions,” said royal author Ingrid Seward People review.
And this parental style shows. Especially in Charlotte.
“She is a fairly strong, almost wise character beyond her years,” revealed an initiate of the palace.
Whether it is appearing on the balcony of the Buckingham Palace or joining her brothers and sisters during public events, Charlotte displays a calm confidence that drew the attention of many.
“She looks very confident and comfortable with herself and the environment in which she is,” said the designer of children’s clothing Amaia Arrieta, who has met Charlotte several times. “She seems to nail it every time.”
Breaking with tradition, Charlotte now frequents the preparatory school of Coed Lambrook with her brothers, marking a change compared to the old royal standard of education separated by the sexes.
“The monarchy has caught up with modern times,” said Seward. “The old rules of royalty have changed.”
